My relationship sense is tingling! Ada wanted her lil werewolf to be okay with her arcane horror face ^^.

LOL Well it seems the Junk was just that Dumb!
But it seem heart shot are a problem even if just steel.
    Tre I agree,Ada Cares!

Ada was clear she is not gay , So I am betting BI(biologically makes sense Doubles Food sources) or thinks of herself as truly Dead.

I think the Shepards Did some harm here by making it possble to by all her blood all she needed to do was live like a vagrant and buy all her blood.
And removed Ada need for social Life. Living as as a loner instead of a social creature.

Makes me suspect The Shepards realy do see them selves as supernatural Forrest Rangers. That will kill a Rogue killer Bear in a second but do Anything to stop that from happening including shooting the dumb human feeding it cupcakes.

Ada Lives like a Rogue, Betting she dose not hunt for food.
The Shepards Sell blood but it probably to help vampires supplement there food.Of feed some one thats Ugly. 95 % of Red cross blood Expires after 6 months and is thrown out (90% good but the 10 of the cells dead makes it unfit for transfusions, (they call this (lab blood) and only used in research and such)So the supply not really a problem but dose sell for like $200 a pint in real world so even if the shepards buy and sell at bulk it would be pricey.
And a Vampire could feed rather easily threw social means depending on there needs and willing donors.

But I am betting Ada gotten screwed up drinking Lab stuff and refuses to hunt or socialize. And the Shepards Feel responsible. Like a Bear eating and sleeping at a feeding station. There just sitting around waiting for her to go nuts or kill her self. And then came Hank who Ada saved by feeding her vampire blood in a act of mercy and “I give a Damd”. Bet The Shepards know stuff Ada dose not about vampires. Bet there hoping it made a bond.Bet when she came in with Hank they all ran in the back and had a emergency meting or phone conference and all hi fived. Hence the Long wait in the waiting room while they decided how to take advantage of this.

See The Shepards are keeping this Huge secret from the rest of the world and there no way there as disorganized as to Let Vampire(a Species known to eat werewolves) Take care of a Baby werewolf..Unless there was a good reason. Betting the Shepards are watching and know Exactly what they were doing.

Well she is over a 100 that might affect her views and denial Level. Born FEBRUARY 1, 1901 so turned about 1931 ? yep that would be the golden age of Homophobia. Her contemporaries Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin and Al Capone and Prohibition, to put it in perspective. She old enough to know pot was illegalized because tobacco was easier to tax.

        No wonder she sells it.

Actually, the 1920’s was surprisingly more liberal than you’d think, even when it came to homosexuality. It’s pretty interesting. Though, it was still technically illegal, equality for gay people and minorities increased in urban areas. (I think it was in the ’20’s when people started actually using the word gay in that context.) It wasn’t until the Great Depression that people got more lame and conservative again.

People tend to be intolerant in hard times and lenient in good times. In hard times a person wants stability. What kind of things give stability? Government is one source, but given its an active human creation it has to change and not always for the better. The big one is usually religion, because so many religions do tend to change so infrequently and slowly that most don’t see them as changing. To the point, what is one of the things the popular religions for the western culture state? That gay people are evil. Not in those words, but that is the thought behind it isn’t it? That there is something very wrong with not being exclusive to your opposite gender?

Wow, depressed myself with this one.

1920 ha? Thought she was Depression era Vamp. But yes there was a lot more openness in the 1920’s as long as it was no ask no tell. A lot people are shocked That in colonial days young People wear Encourage to Live in Sin a Year to see if it worked out and to see if they were a Fertile mix.
If the Girl got Pregnant they were married but if year passed and they hated each other or it seemed they would not have children there was no marriage. As for the Bride being a virgin no one cared. Again it was the Revival Movements of the Depression Era that Killed that. Everyone seemed to think that God’s anger not Corporate America and Greed coursed the Great Depression and Dust bole. Evidence now suggests over farming and the Eradication of Locusts(turns out Locusts were part of the Natural order)

Did you think she’s a depression era vampire because you think she’s a depressed vampire? Eh? Eh? Well, her backstory will come to light eventually. You know, when I do more historical research I guess. Ugh, historical research…

Think of it as lore building. You are not researching history, your are delving deeper into back story for your own grand myth!

I am guessing she(Ada) doesn’t usually feel physical or even emotional attraction for people of any sort the vast majority of the time. Thus its not about gay/bi/straight/tied in a knot. Its about whether she feels something about that person strongly enough to actually get close to them. So she would react the same regardless of gender. Hank is just the lucky one who caught Ada’s interest :3

I would agree.I think Ada has borderline Clinical Depression. I was just wondering if its actually related to her Vamprism or her Immortality or Even if it was a Condition she had as a Human?

Well, if I was a creature I didn’t want to be I might suffer from melancholy and ennui too. Nothing takes the wind out of your sails like being trapped in a life you hate.

Don’t take alot to see Ada is not digging being one of the living impaired. But we do need to know more so we have a good scale to measure Ada’s reactions by. For all we know she is just perpetually mopey.
